School inspectors have praised the leadership of Holybrook Primary School in Bradford in a report which says the school is good with an outstanding feature.
The school in Rillington Mead, Greengates, was said to have good leadership, which was “instrumental in providing clear direction and improvement” which resulted in rising levels of attainment and attendance, as well as improvements in the quality of teaching.
Dave Jones, federation head teacher for Holybrook and Parklands primary schools, said: “We are delighted with Ofsted’s findings as this reflects how we feel about the school.
“Everyone has worked extremely hard to bring about this success.”
The report said a strong feature of the school’s work was its partnerships, especially those within the federation. The report reads: “Pupils have positive attitudes to learning, their behaviour is good and they have a good understanding of the importance of a healthy lifestyle.”
