Archive footage of Odsal Stadium will be played to rugby fans on the venue’s big screen next week.
The Yorkshire Film Archive has been working on the production with support from the Bradford Bulls Foundation and funding by Screen Yorkshire.
A limited-edition DVD, featuring the Odsal film and extra footage, is available to buy from the Bradford Bulls Bullring shop.
Graham Relton, Yorkshire Film Archive manager, said: “To be able to screen historic moments captured on film in the venue that were shot 30, 50, even 70 years ago and share these images with fans today is fantastic.”
The film includes footage of a 1947 Great Britain v New Zealand test match and Bradford Northern returning from Wembley in the 1940s.
Military marches, Highland dancing and gymkhanas have also been captured, along with footage of the Bradford Boomerangs speedway team.
Bradford Bulls Foundation chairman Ryan Duckett said: “Over the years there have been some interesting and exciting events here at Odsal.
“Everyone remembers the great times in rugby league but it is good to look at the fascinating footage put together by the Yorkshire Film Archive of events like speedway, tennis, gymkhanas and stock car racing, and the involvement in wartime activity."
