A school has been described as “outstanding” by two separate inspection reports.
Christ Church C of E Primary School in Skipton has won high praise from Ofsted inspectors for both its effectiveness and ability to improve.
As a church school, Christ Church also underwent a Statutory Inspection of Anglican Schools and the inspectors were equally impressed.
They gave the school a second outstanding rating, describing it as a place where “Christian values can be seen in action”.
Lead Ofsted inspector David Byrne said the school provided “a genuine, caring education” and added that pupils took “enormous pride in all they do”.
He also praised the way the 125 pupils engaged with their community, to which he said the school made an excellent contribution.
