A Bradford woman has finally secured a place in the London Marathon on Sunday after six years of applying.
Catherine Mills, 38, of Tyersal, will raise money for Martin House Children’s Hospice.
She works for Bradford Social Services at St Stephen’s Respite Unit in West Bowling, and it is the children there, with complex health needs, who inspired her to raise money for Martin House.
“Running the marathon is a good opportunity to raise money as well as testing myself by doing something that not everyone is fortunate enough to be able to physically do themselves.”
Catherine hopes to raise £1,000. To help her, visit justgiving.com/ Catherine-Mills1.
