Edward Prior, aged 51, of Parry Lane, Swain Green; driving while using a hand-held mobile phone, £60 fine, £290 costs, licence endorsed. Deborah Hambley, aged 39, of Cartmel Road, Keighley; falsely claiming benefit, 12 months community order, £445 costs. Mohammed Amin, aged 19, of St Margaret’s Place, Great Horton; failure to comply with community order, criminal damage, community order revoked and dealt with for the original offences of assaulting a police officer, 12 months’ community order with 210 hours’ unpaid work. Darya Jamal Hamad, aged 28, of Hartington Terrace, Lidget Green; complaint for a bind over to keep the peace, granted.
James Yeadon, aged 30, of Elsdon Grove, Little Horton; two counts of theft and one of attempted theft, jailed for 12 weeks. Kabir Ahmed, aged 26, of Brooksbank Avenue, Scholemoor; drink-driving, driving without a licence, obstructing a police officer, 12 months’ community order with 200 hours’ unpaid work, £85 costs, banned from driving for three years; driving without insurance, no separate penalty. Paul Lawrence Breen, aged 41, of West Royd, Wilsden; drink-driving, taking a car without consent, failure to stop after an accident, failure to report an accident, 12 months’ community order with 150 hours’ unpaid work, £85 costs, £175 compensation, banned from driving for 20 months; driving without a licence, driving without insurance, no separate penalty.
Julie Bernadette Riley, aged 41, of Holme Street, Holme Top; using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour, community order with curfew, £85 costs. Christopher Smith, aged 42, of Thornton Road, Fairweather Green; drunk and disorderly, £50 fine, £100 costs.
