The University of Bradford’s Council will discuss how much they will charge in tuition fees at a meeting on Friday.
An announcement is expected soon after the meeting.
Other universities in Yorkshire, including Sheffield and Leeds, have recently revealed they will charge students the full amount of £9,000 a year from September next year.
Leeds Metropolitan University is to charge fees of up to £8,500.
Vice chancellor Professor Mark Cleary said: “It is hoped that during that meeting we will reach a decision of what fee the University of Bradford will charge.”
More than 30 universities have declared their intended fee levels for next year, with the majority planning to charge £9,000.
All universities planning to charge more than £6,000 will have to have their fees approved by the Office for Fair Access (Offa) and sign access agreements showing how they will ensure poorer students are not priced out.
MPs voted to raise tuition fees to £6,000 from 2012 at the end of last year, with institutions allowed to charge £9,000 in exceptional circumstances.
Bradford University revealed in February it had received almost a fifth more applications for courses starting in 2011 compared to the year before.
