Former Coronation Street stars Gaynor Faye, Ken Morley and Roy Barraclough will be treading the boards at the Alhambra in a new play celebrating 50 years of the soap.
The stars have been announced as cast members for Corrie, a comedy written by Coronation Street script-writer Jonathan Harvey, which draws on half a century of storylines and much-loved characters.
A cast of six play more than 50 characters, including Ken and Deirdre Barlow, Gail Platt, Bet Lynch, Elsie Tanner, Hilda Ogden and Roy and Hayley Cropper.
Storylines include the Deirdre, Ken and Mike Baldwin love triangle, Gail marrying her four husbands, and Street villain Alan Bradley getting hit by a Blackpool tram.
Corrie! runs at the Alhambra from May 24 to 28. Tickets are available on (01274) 432000.
