Victims and survivors of the holocaust and other genocides were remembered yesterday in a moving ceremony at Victoria Hall, Saltaire.
Representatives of Bradford’s Jewish, Eastern European and Gypsy communities joined civic leaders in lighting candles in memory of the victims.
Bradford Council’s chief executive Tony Reeves and deputy leader, Councillor Imran Hussain, also attended the remembrance ceremony.
They were joined by representatives of Ukrainian Holodomor famine victims, relatives of victims and children who lived through the holocaust.
