A fundraising campaign has started for a brave mother-of-two who is undergoing revolutionary treatment in the US in a last-ditch attempt to beat breast cancer.
Bev Dransfield, 42, of Gomersal, was first diagnosed with breast cancer seven years ago and after undergoing a mastectomy and reconstructive surgery she was given the all-clear.
Over the next few years, Mrs Dransfield and her friends helped to raise thousands of pounds for charity.
She found out in November that the cancer had returned and had spread to her lungs, liver and lymphatic system and doctors gave her between two months and two years to live. She is now undergoing an alternative course of treatment at a clinic in Phoenix, Arizona.
Her brother Jonathan Fisher, a salesman for double glazing firm Safestyle UK, and family and friends are trying to raise funds for the treatment.
They have organised an auction on Friday, February 4, from 7.30pm at Gomersal Cricket Club. Tickets cost £10. For more details, call Mr Fisher on 07984 342581.
