Controversial plans for a £3.3 million scheme for Saltaire roundabout have been criticised by businesses owners in the area who claim they have not been fully consulted on the major scheme.
Bradford Council’s executive has agreed in principal draft plans, which have been drawn up by highways chiefs in a bid to improve traffic flow and safety at the notorious junction.
The scheme is set to start this spring and delays could mean it is in danger of losing the majority of its funding to other transport projects.
However, at a meeting yesterday representatives of businesses in and around the Hirst Wood industrial estate called for further consultation.
