A business’s charitable arm has awarded £2,500 to a cat welfare group.
Support Adoption for Pets, part of the Pets at Home firm, has given the cash to Haworth Cat Rescue. The money will go towards the cost of neutering and other vet bills.
Darren Noakes, deputy manager of the business’s Halifax branch, said: “We are pleased Support Adoption for Pets has awarded this grant to help them continue their work in giving unwanted cats the second chance and medical attention they need.”
Haworth Cat Rescue’s campaign manager Corinne Moore said: “Running our facility is far more expensive than most people think. It’s been a very hard winter so far and we are extremely grateful for this help.”
