Freemasons at the Doric Lodge, Bingley, have given £1,000 to Manorlands Hospice, Oxenhope.

Harold Hawkyard, trustee of Doric Lodge, presented funds collected by members of the group to Manorlands fundraiser Rachel Cunningham.

The Freemasons support various charities across the country, much of the funds helping hospices.

Rachel said the hospice was extremely grateful to the Freemasons for their support.

She said: “Their generous donation will help towards our £2.1m running costs, £1.2m of which we need to raise through voluntary donations.”
