The mother of a two-year-old girl with an irreparable heart defect has said a big thank you to family, friends and businesses in Ilkley after raising more money for charity.
Olivia Wilkinson was treated at Leeds General Infirmary hours after she was born to keep her alive. Olivia and her family, of East Parade, fundraised for the Children’s Heart Surgery Fund at the hospital.
Olivia’s mother, Naomi, has revealed the family has raised £1,000 from the sale of ‘reindeer’ food, taking the total raised by the family to £4,000.
Mrs Wilkinson said: “We’d like to thank family and friends and all the shops for their support.’’
