A group of pupils has been chosen to travel to a school in Sri Lanka.
The four students, from Holy Family Catholic School in Keighley, wrote application letters to win places on the ten-day trip to Matara Central College. Elsie O’Dwyer and Harriet Purvis, who are in year 12, along with year ten pupils Giovanna Fedorniak and Sam Snowdon, will fly out on Saturday, February 12.
They will be accompanied by special educational needs co-ordinator Andrea Pritchard and faculty leader for humanities Cath Owens. The two staff members visited the same Sri Lankan school last year.
