Traders in Little Germany, Bradford, have welcomed a report which recommends the reversal of controversial road changes in the area.
It comes after Bradford Council faced opposition from business owners to their trial of a one-way system in Peckover Street which began last May.
The restrictions were introduced after complaints from residents and other businesses about problems with rat-running and congestion.
But after complaints of a lack of passing custom for Little Germany traders, a report to the Council’s Environment and Waste Management Overview and Scrutiny Committee recommends the system is changed back to a two-way system, in what it describes as a “compromise”.
