Train travellers at stations in the Bradford district are facing huge delays after a man was hit by a train.
Metro, West Yorkshire’s transport authority, said all trains, including those on the Aire Valley and Wharfedale lines, running through Leeds railway station were being delayed.
British Transport Police (BPT) and paramedics were scrambled to the station following reports the man had been struck by a train at 12.25pm.
A BTP spokesman said: "Officers are currently dealing with an incident at Leeds railway station after receiving a report that a man has been struck by a train at the station.
"Officers are at the scene with paramedics, determining the circumstances of the incident, which is not being treated as suspicious."
