A young Bradford actor who is becoming a veteran of the small and big screen is starring in a new children’s series.
Ronan Carter, 15, has already played the lead role in Mam, a film directed by actor Hugo Speer, and appeared in another film, Life On The Line. Last year he spent four months in London filming a lead role, Kit, in a new CBBC series, Sadie Jones, which starts on Friday at 5.15pm.
Ronan attends the Stardom School for Performing Arts in Shelf.
Principal Liz Davies said more than 250 boys from around the country had auditioned for the role of Kit.
“Ronan’s achievement is all the more remarkable given that he has dyslexia,” she said. “The production team for Sadie Jones have been complimentary about him.”
