The crashed Ford Focus
Halifax Road, in Buttershaw, Bradford, is closed this morning while police investigate a car crash which has left one man dead.
Police said the road is likely to be shut for some time.
The accident occurred at about 3.50am and involved a black Ford Focus, occupied by two men, which collided with a wall.
The deceased has not been named and the other man is at Bradford Royal Infirmary being treated for serious injuries, police said.
His condition this afternoon was said to be "critical".
The road has now been re-opened.
