A Keighley street was sealed off today following a shooting.
A gun was fired at the front door of a house at Eel Holme View Street in Beechcliffe.
Armed police attended and investigations are continuing.
Police believe the attack, which happened at about 9.20am, was targeted. No-one was injured.
A vehicle connected to the incident was recovered nearby.
Peter Joy, 73, who lives near the house that was attacked, said: "I was reading the paper when I heard two shots.
"I knew it was a shotgun. I opened the front door and looked out and there was a silver-coloured car further down the street.
"It had one of its back doors open but I couldn't see anyone. Then it made off down the street really quickly.
"Within five or ten minutes there were armed police arriving."
The front door of the targeted house was open and pellet damage was clearly visible on the lower door panel.
Witnesses to the incident are asked to contact Airedale and North Bradford CID on 0845 6060606.
