Hundreds of women are again being challenged to walk the streets of Ilkley in aid of a good cause this year.
The Sue Ryder Care Midnight Walk will be back in town for the third time this September, but this time with a shorter route, staying within the confines of Ilkley and Ben Rhydding.
The walk raises thousands of pounds for the charity’s Manorlands Hospice, near Keighley, and Wheatfields Hospice, Leeds.
This year’s Ilkley walk is being planned for Saturday, September 10.
In previous years the walk took fundraisers to Burley-in-Wharfedale and back, following a ten mile route.
This year, the walk is being cut down to ten kilometres, and will stay within Ilkley and Ben Rhydding.
More details of the event will be revealed in spring, and to register go to sueryder.org/midnightwalk.
Businesses which would like to support the event should contact fundraiser Rachel Cunningham on (01535) 640445 or e-mail rachel.cunningham@suerydercare.org
