Zumba classes start at Skipton Town Hall on Thursday night with a charity Zumbathon.
The Latin-inspired dance-fitness programme blends international music, created by Grammy Award-winning producers, and dance moves to form a “fitness party”.
Since its inception in 2001, Zumba has grown to become the world’s largest – and most successful – dance-fitness programme with more than ten million people of all shapes, sizes and ages taking weekly classes in more than 90,000 locations across more than 110 countries.
Local classes will be led by Rachael Keighley and Deana Morgan, who already run sessions at Giggleswick School on Tuesday evenings. The Skipton classes will run every Thursday at 7.45pm. For more information, log onto dmacademy.co.uk or call (01274) 585317.
