The official opening of a new well-being cafe in Baildon took place yesterday.
The free service provides live entertainment, activities and access to support for older people who are isolated or depressed. Their spouses or carers can also join in activities at the Baildon Well-Being Cafe, which will run on the first Thursday of every month from 1.30pm to 3.30pm.
The cafe has been set up by Hale, a Shipley-based health charity, in partnership with Bradford and Airedale Community Involvement Network.
It will be held at the Moravian Church Hall. Free transport to the hall can also be arranged by contacting Carol at Hale on 07946 154161.
Forthcoming entertainment at the cafe includes Ken Romano and Janie Voltaire.
