A Slimming World group launched less than four months ago is going from strength to strength.

The class, in East Morton, near Keighley, now has 30 members who together have lost a whopping 48 stones so far.

Consultant Tina Shepherd, who launched the group, said she was very proud of members’ success.

She said: “One couple have lost four-and-a-half stones between them already and their friends are so keen to know how they are doing it they are joining too.

“Another one of my members was delighted to text me on New Year’s Day to tell me that she has gone from a size 18 to having to buy a size 14.”
