A school received a good report from inspectors.
Ofsted found that Riddlesden St Mary’s Church of England Primary is a good school with a good capacity for sustaining improvements.
According to the report, it is a larger-than-average size primary with a higher-than- average proportion of pupils from minority ethnic backgrounds.
Pupils’ achievement is good, the report said.
Inspectors reported that most children enter nursery with skills and knowledge well below those found typically for three-year-olds but teacher assessments at the end of Key Stage 2 last year showed attainment was broadly average in English and maths.
