Young people from Keighley district who have been brave despite suffering from ill health will be recognised in March.
The Danny Ryan Memorial Committee will hand over cash awards to the youngsters at Victoria Hall on Saturday, March 5.
The awards are run by Holy Family Catholic School, Keighley. They were set up 26 years ago after the death of Mr Ryan, the school’s former deputy head teacher.
In previous years at least four young beneficiaries with chronic health problems have received a share of the cash.
This year the organising committee has booked Sean Wilson, a recording star from Ireland, to perform at the presentations and St Patrick’s dance.
