Scene of the incident in Otley in which a teenager was fatally injured
A teenage pedestrian has died after he was in collision with a car outside a church in Otley on New Year’s Eve.
A driver was arrested after the 16-year-old was struck at 9.05pm in Boroughgate.
Revellers at the nearby White Swan pub attempted to help the boy, who had been flung six feet over metal fencing.
He was taken to hospital, but died despite the best efforts of staff.
