A family of six escaped a blaze at their Bradford home today.
Odsal firefighters were called to a house in Great Horton Road, near the junction with Cross Lane, shortly after 10.15am.
Watch commander Sally Dickens said the family, including a one-year-old baby and three other children, had managed to get out of the house by the time crews arrived.
She said the fire was believed to have been caused by an electrical heater in a bedroom. She said the house had not been fitted with smoke detectors.
