Shipley’s programme of Christmas events is set to continue with a day of free street entertainment this weekend.
Bradford Council, businesses and volunteers from schools, churches and community organisations have organised the street entertainment on Saturday.
Dan Collins is set to wow the crowds with a spectacular fire eating and fire juggling act in the town centre between 11am and 2pm.
Other attractions will include the local Salvation Army Brass Band and the Bradford Voices Community Choir performing a selection of Christmas carols and peace music.
There will also be face painting by Craftychops and free mince pies, tea and coffee served in the library.
Councillor the Reverend Paul Flowers, the Council’s executive member for sport and leisure, said: “Shoppers both young and old alike can enjoy the free entertainment taking place in Shipley Market Square and Well Croft.”
The street entertainment is part of Shipley’s All Wrapped Up For Christmas programme, which included the town’s annual Christmas market.
Free parking will be available at Market Square Car Park, Saville Car Park, Atkinson Car Park, Wharf Street Car Park and Westcliffe Road Car Park.
