Commuters have been snarled up in tail backs in the centre of Queensbury, Bradford, following a collision between a lorry and a silver Renault car.

Fire crews and police officers were called to reports of the car driver being trapped but no one was found to be injured when emergency services arrived at the scene of the accident in Albert Road at the junction with High Street just after 8am today.

In a separate incident in Thorncliffe Road, off Manningham Lane, Bradford, a 34-year-old woman pedestrian was in collision with a vehicle at 8.15am.

Early police reports suggest the victim suffered an injury to her arm which was not thought to be serious.
