Schoolchildren were in good voice to spread a little festive spirit to members of their community.
Pupils at Hill Top Church of England Primary School, Low Moor, Bradford, sang Christmas carols in the playground as part of a day of celebration after the school was named in a list of the top ten state primaries in the country.
Parents, staff and governors past and present, former pupils, local dignitaries, police officers, Education Bradford staff and people who the school has worked with were all invited for the sing-a-long.
Among those who attended was the Lord Mayor of Bradford, Councillor Peter Hill.
Fiona Nolan, the school’s deputy head teacher, said: “It was a wonderful Christmas atmosphere.”
