Children in Pudsey were shown the art of baking in a bid to raise money for this year’s BBC Children in Need appeal.
Staff at Asda Pudsey hosted a Bake the Bear workshop so children could join in with the cooking fun and get some expert baking tips. Their bakery treats, which include biscuits in the shape of Pudsey Bear, will be sold off to raise money for BBC Children in Need.
The store has also encouraged children to continue baking at home by giving away special Bake the Bear cookie cutters.
Children can bring money raised from the sale of the biscuits they’ve made into the store, which will be added to the overall charity total presented to BBC Children in Need on appeal night, on Friday, November 19. Last year the store raised more than £5,000, and it hopes to match or even beat that total this year.
