Bradford’s Alzheimers Society said goodbye to its branch manager Ruth Gallagher who has retired after 13 years.
Coun Hill said: “Ruth’s contribution to improving the life of people with dementia and their carers was well known in the city and beyond and there were a great number of people in Bradford who were grateful.”
Ron Hamer, a long-term volunteer, said: “Ruth has had a positive effect on so many people and has been the leading light in developing the office in Bradford over the past 13 years.”
