The City of Bradford Brass Band is going from strength to strength, and will be performing at the Bingley Show this weekend.
The former Yorkshire Building Society Concert Band has more than doubled its membership under musical director Lee Skipsey, former percussionist with the Black Dyke Band.
“The band was down to ten players but now has 28,” said spokesman Panette Harrison. “We are competing at a march and hymn tune contest at St Helens in September, and at a national contest in January.”
