A long-awaited new hospital has moved a step closer to reality with key decisions expected on services to be provided at the new facility.
Partners in the proposed development met on Wednesday to finalise details of what should be included at the Coronation Community Hospital in Ilkley.
Health trust heads said this would give them a clear idea of the size of development needed – and more detailed proposals would go before the trust board in September.
The proposals will also be presented to Bradford and Airedale Care Partnerships, a joint venture set up to deliver Local Improvement Finance Trust initiatives across the district.
NHS Bradford and Airedale has yet to disclose what was agreed at the meeting, held behind closed doors.
