Rock band Medusa will be in Bradford next month.
The trio is rooted, musically, in bands spanning the late 1970s to the early Nineties, with influences ranging from Nirvana to Van Halen and the Sex Pistols.
Lead singer Julian says: “I think Medusa is whatever these bands have in common. We’ve got the attitude of the Sex Pistols and the guitar solos of Van Halen.”
Formed in 2000 when Julian was 16, the band has altered its line-up in recent years, and today Julian is joined by Chrissy Riles on bass and Paul Brynes on drums.
The band is currently working on a second album, set for release this autumn.
Medusa will be at the Bradford Gasworks club on Saturday, August 7. Bradford bands Jealous Dog and The Muzz will be supporting them.
