Posters designed by four pupils of Shirley Manor Primary School in Wyke, have been selected to adorn the construction sites operated by national firm ISG.
Creations by Lucy Nelson, Sinead Hallam, Olivia Dean and Hannah Gummery are winners of a design competition set by the company and each received a framed copy of their work, and a £25 gift voucher.
The contractor is on site at the school this summer where it is carrying out a £630,000 project to extend and upgrade facilities. The scheme will add a new single-storey IT suite and WILL see the buildings completely refurbished in time for September. Mick Quealy, a health and safety advisor for the firm, said: “It’s extremely important for children to understand and learn about dangers posed by construction sites at an early age.”
