The house in Chelsea Street, Keighley
Firefighters rescued a man 30ft up from his window ledge at a house fire in Keighley today.
The man, believed to be in his 50s, managed to make his own way out on to the ledge from a bedroom after a fire broke out on the landing of his home in Chelsea Street just before 1am.
Pumps attended from Keighley and Bingley.
The man was helped down a ladder and taken to Airedale Hospital suffering from smoke inhalation.
