Youngsters at Cottingley Village Primary School have been collecting donations of bedding and cat food for a Bradford animal shelter.
The pupils decided to make Cat Rescue in Allerton their class charity and were visited by Brenda Satterley, who has run the refuge from her home for 35 years, and some kittens in her care.
The shelter, which is looking after 130 cats, is still appealing for donations.
Cat food can be left in bins at Morrisons at Five Lane Ends, Bradford, and Tesco in Halifax Road. Cheques, to Cat Rescue, can be sent to Allerton Cat Rescue, 258 Allerton Road, Allerton, Bradford, BD15 7QX.
