The M62 motorway has partially reopened following a serious collision that left motorists injured.
The incident, which happened near junction 25 at Brighouse, involved a lorry, a Vauxhall Vectra and a Range Rover.
The incident led to a full closure on both carriageways between junctions 24 and 25.
But West Yorkshire Police say two lanes on the eastbound carriageway and one lane westbound are now open.
This is likely to remain the case for the foreseeable future. Three people, from the Vectra, were taken to the Huddersfield Royal Infirmary with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the lorry, a 62-year-old man, and the female driver of the Range Rover suffered minor injuries and did not require hospital treatment.
Traffic is reported to be heavy on many surrounding and alternative routes. Witnesses to the collision are asked to contact the Motorway Unit on 01924 293034
