A play area in the heart of Bradford’s Ravenscliffe estate is to get a facelift as part of a summer clean-up.
A team of volunteers and Bradford Council staff will clear away rubbish, plant new shrubs and trim back vegetation in the grounds of Ravenscliffe Youth and Community Centre.
The team will also be restoring the play area to its former glory by repainting the equipment, as well as re-staining the fence.
Councillor Ghazanfer Khaliq, the Council’s executive member for environment and sustainability, said: “We want users to feel that the facilities are cared for and worth the effort to keep up to scratch.”
