Brighouse author Tim Murgatroyd will be signing copies of his book Taming Poison Dragons at Waterstones in Bradford tomorrow.
Set in 12th century China, the book tells the story of a young poet whose passion and individuality leave him struggling against a stifling regime.
The novel – which so impressed publisher Myrmidon that it entered it for the Booker prize – is now being printed in paperback.
Mr Murgatroyd, an English teacher who grew up in Brighouse and attended Hipperholme Grammar School said: “I’m delighted by the positive reception given to Taming Poison Dragons in hardback and hope the paperback reaches even more readers.”
l The book signing takes place from 11am to 1pm.
