Top stand-up comedians will perform in Bradford over the next six months.
The 13 acts booked for St George’s Hall between September 17 and January 31 include television hits Jimmy Carr, Reginald D Hunter, Al Murray, Mock the Week’s Frankie Boyle, Grumpy Old Woman Jenny Eclair and Radio 4’s Just a Minute star Ross Noble.
The £20 tickets to see Frankie Boyle on Saturday, November 20, have all sold.
Top-price tickets are £25 for Al Murray, the pub landlord billed as the ‘Barrel of Fun’, who will take the stage on Thursday, October 28.
Cheapest are the £12 tickets for Jongleurs Comedy on the Road show which gets the season under way on Friday, September 17.
For all 13 shows Bradford Council is offering a curry and a drink for £6.95, though these tickets have to be booked in advance.
The comedians appearing at St George’s Hall are Jongleurs Comedy on the Road, The Armstrong & Miller Live UK Tour, Mark Watson, Jenny Eclair in Old Dog New Tricks, Sean Lock in Lockipedia, Jimmy Carr in Laughter Therapy, Al Murray, Jason Manford, Reginald D Hunter, Stewart Francis, Frankie Boyle, Ross Noble in Nonsensory Overload and John Bishop.
In addition, Bradford pantomime favourite Billy Pearce will perform at St George’s Hall on Thursday, November 18, and city regular Ken Dodd will be on stage on Friday, December 17.
