Addingham now has 120 allotments after work was completed on 34 new plots at the Lower Stamp Hill site.
The land has been divided into 20 half-plots of 250 square metres and 14 full-size areas, with water butts delivered which will be partly sunk into the ground.
Rabbit-proof fencing has been completed, thanks to funding from Addingham parish council.
Honorary life member of Addingham Allotments and Gardens Association Tom Benstead said: “Allotments are in vogue, they are a fashion. Everybody wants organic food so there’s a great demand.”
