The funeral of a 24-year-old man who died after falling from a hotel balcony at a luxury Mexican resort will be held on Friday.
Adam Pemberton, a former pupil at Oakbank School, Keighley, who worked for Skipton-based construction company JN Bentley, was four days into a romantic get-away with his fiancée Rosanna Broughan when tragedy struck last month.
The Mexican authorities have not been able to tell his family – mum Heather, dad Keith, brother Craig andsister Victoria – exactly what happened to Adam, except that he sustained fatal injuries as a result from a fall.
At the time of his death, his father Keith paid tribute to his son as ‘big-hearted’ and ‘fun loving.’ He said: “He will never be forgotten – the town will still be talking about him in 20 years to come – he was that much of a character.”
The family, of Bracken Road, Keighley, have asked all those attending the funeral at Keighley Shared Church to wear bright colours.
The funeral will begin at 1.30pm, followed by a private family cremation.
Donations will be taken for the RSPCA.
