Beer festival volunteers hand over the cheque to Coun Chris Harbron
Skipton Beer Festival raised more than £1,000 for the mayor’s charities through prize draws and donations. Former town mayor Coun Chris Harbron received a cheque for £1,080.60 from volunteers at the festival, organised by the local branch of the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA). His chosen charities were Parkinson’s UK and the Alzheimer’s Society.
