A Bradford man is taking on the Harden Hard’Un tomorrow to raise money for Bradford Cancer Support.
Ben Firth, 34, of Thornton, has pledged to raise £1,000 for the charity after they helped his late grandmother in 2006.
The Harden Hard’Un is a Long Distance Walkers Association event which takes in 27 miles of Bronte Country moorland, with an almost 4,000ft of ascent. It has to be completed inside 11 hours.
He said: “You never know what’s around the corner and whether or not you’ll need the support of a local charity like Bradford Cancer Support. Their help is invaluable to people when they need it most.”
Ben hopes his efforts will spur people to help him by sponsoring him at justgiving.com/Ben-Firth.
