Skipton Rugby Club has invited local groups and charities to enter participants for the first Witches, Wizards and Little Monsters Fun Run later this year.

Once registered, entrants will be asked to raise as much money as possible in sponsorship for their chosen good cause.

Registration is £10 for adults and £5 for children under-12 and includes a race number and medal.

The Little Monsters, under-nine, run is about 0.75km while the Witches and Wizards run is about 5km. It will be held at the club on Sunday, October 31.

Participants will be invited to wear fancy dress with prizes for the best costumes.

Organiser Dave Fergus said: “There are more than 700 different groups with a 25 mile radius of the rugby club, all trying to raise funds. All the sponsorship raised by participants will go directly to their chosen good cause.”
