Farsley Celtic Juniors under-11s were in jubilant mood after recording their first win of the year - 3-0 against Colton in the Keybury League.

Right from the off Farsley meant

business and Dominic Staunton crossed for striker Ryan Westmoreland to open the scoring.

Colton fought back but Farsley's strong defence - Oliver Beard, Will Buck, Josh Fairbrother and Keelan Milner - was impregnable, allowing Farsley keeper Lewis Pickering to be a virtual spectator.

Five minutes before the end of the half, Dominic Staunton powered the ball past the keeper to extend Farsley's lead.

In the second half Farsley applied more pressure, with Johnny Bell and Alex Gyte going close, and in the closing minutes, a corner found Jack Reed in the box and he thundered in the team's third goal.

Goals from Krisan Patel and Ryan Simpson were not enough to prevent Undercliffe under-nines from slipping to a 6-2 defeat against Nab Wood.

James Garside was voted Undercliffe's man of the match.

Undercliffe Celtic hammered Long Lee 6-1. Joe Walker Kaye scored the team's first goal (he went on to notch a hat-trick) and it wasn't long before the second goal came through Thomas Gasson.

Gareth Thompson, and Jamie Gibb also netted for Undercliffe.

Kings Park Panthers were beaten 3-2 at home to Guiseley Blues.

The Panthers were under the cosh from the start and soon took the lead, the ball taking a cruel deflection on its way into the net. A second goal came soon after with the Kings Park defence unable to clear their lines.

After a stern talking to from the coaching staff, Kings Park came out a different team and it was not long before they pulled a goal back.

Kings Park applied more pressure and equalised and in an end-to-end finish to an exciting game, Guiseley struck a fine winner.

Kings Park Pumas were also beaten at home, but a little more comprehensively, Guiseley White winning 7-1.

After last week's fine win, the Pumas looked tired and it was not long before Guiseley took advantage.

The Pumas had no answer to the Guiseley attack, which scored at regular intervals.

Kings Park Cubs defeated Kings Park Wildcats 7-3 in a home derby.

The Cubs were looking for their second win in two weeks and it was not long before the goals began to fly in. But they did not have it all their own way. Tim Kampon scored a hat-trick for the Cubs.

Myrtle Park under-sevens finished 6-3 winners in an end-to-end home encounter against a game Horsforth side.

Once again impressive skipper Rhys Allen was in top form, grabbing five of the Myrtle goals. But man-of-the-match for Myrtle was the energetic Sean Coleman, who drove his side forward with a non-stop performance.

Farsley were away in a tough game at top-of-the-table Horsforth St Margarets - and came away with a fine 2-1 victory.

Farsley started the better of the two teams and were awarded an early penalty which Alex Myers missed.

Farsley continued to dominate and James Cook hit a post with a great drive. The second half continued in the same vein and Dan Steel had a great effort well saved by the Horsforth keeper. Then against the run of play Horsforth took the lead.

But after a great run, Luke Mehta squared the ball to Max Collins, who drilled it home for the equaliser.

Farsley continued to press and Lewis Jennings burst through the middle showing great strength to beat the keeper for the winner.

Undercliffe Celtic under-11s A team defeated Long Lee Juniors 2-1 thanks to goals from Daniel Wood.

Shipley B under-eights beat Oakworth Wasps under-eights 2-0. Oaks keeper Sam Adams was man of the match with a string of fine saves.

Shipley Lions under-eights went down 1-0 at home to Oakworth Hornets, who kept their title hopes alive with this hard-fought victory.

Joe Horsfield made some great saves to keep Oaks in the game before Ben Weatherall scored the all-important goal after a good shot from Callum Holmes had been saved.

Pool under-nines beat Eccleshill United 3-1. Gage Faulkner was man of the match and he scored the solitary goal for Eccleshill.

There was also a defeat for Eccleshill Scorpions, beaten 2-1 at Gomersal/Cleckheaton under-tens.

But Eccleshill played well and Benni Barker scored a superb goal. Eccleshill keeper Edward Leith was voted man of the match.

Eccleshill United Lizards under-tens drew 2-2 at Gomersal/Cleckheaton Wildcats. Eccleshill gave a tremendous team performance with their goals coming from Zak Davey and a fine free-kick by Joseph Fawcett.

Eccleshill United under-11s were beaten 5-3 by Wilsden. Josh Moore grabbed a hat-trick for Eccleshill who played well but couldn't stop Wilsden grabbing all three points.

Bradford Tigers under-nines A defended well for the most part at Shelf A in the Keybury League, but gave away a soft first goal in losing 2-0.

Midfielder Jake Tarbotton was Tigers' man of the match and goalkeeper Jordan Clements made several fine saves.

Idle Juniors produced the result of the day with a 5-2 win over champions Long Lee. Thomas Swindell pulled off a great penalty save to deny Long Lee, who went 1-0 up through Ashley Bedell. Ben Bairstow scored a superb free-kick and Alex Mellor (penalty), Connor Cooper and Bedell added further goals.

An injury-hit Prospect Juniors were held to a 2-2 draw at local rivals Bolton Woods in Division Two of the Garforth League.

Simon Mcquiston and Curtis Rawnsley had given Prospect a 2-0 lead but Woods fought back and forced home an equaliser from close range with ten minutes left.

In a top-of-the-table Craven League clash, Eccleshill under-12s beat Silsden 2-1 with a fine solo goal from Lewis Coupe.

The under-14s won 6-2 against Bankfoot Villa - Aiden Chippendale scoring four goals and Joe Fitpatrick and Ben Bodle, with a penalty, the other players on target.

The under-16s remain third in the table after a 3-1 win at Nab Wood. Scorers were Jason Trudgill (2) and Ben Thompson.

Silsden Juniors beat Burley Trojans 2-1 in their hardest game of the season so far.

Burley took the lead against the run of play with their first shot on goal but it was the wake-up call Silsden needed and they went on to win with goals by Oliver Stephenson and top scorer Josh McNulty.

Bradford Park Avenue under-sevens drew 2-2 with Battyeford in the Huddersfield & District League.

Rebecca Rayner and Curtis Peters netted a goal apiece for Avenue.

Park Avenue B team thrashed Battyeford 11-0 with Reece Durkin and Andrew Parkinson scoring five goals each. Ben Keating also netted his first ever goal.
