Just two clubs are representing the area as the West Riding County Cup reaches the last eight but significantly they are holders Guiseley and Farsley Celtic, who have a superb record in the competition.
Guiseley have the easier draw on paper against Pontefract Collieries.
"They will come to our place with nothing to lose, coming to the holders and a club a
couple of leagues higher," said boss Neil Parsley.
"We want to do well because we are defending the trophy but also because we know the winners of this tie have the best semi-final. Harrogate Town or Halifax Town will be awaiting whoever goes through from tonight."
Recently returned striker Scott Jackson is cup-tied and Bradford City defender Sam Denton is not allowed to play because he is a loan player.
Farsley also have an eligibility doubt in their home tie with Ossett Town, their new signing Damian Reeves, and have Martin Pemberton sidelined through an ankle injury.
"The knock Martin got that saw him substituted on Saturday will keep him out but he may be ready for the weekend," said Celts boss Lee Sinnott.
"Damian has come to us from Wakefield & Emley and they play in the Hallamshire County Cup. If he has played for them in that competition already this season I'm sure it will prevent him appearing in our County Cup."
Also playing tonight are Thackley, who face Nicky Law's Buxton in the last eight of the Northern Counties East President's Cup.
Thackley have home advantage but a scratch squad with at least five players sidelined.
"Buxton will come expecting to beat us. They have a big squad of good players and are leading our division but we like to play against the better teams," said boss John Boyle.
