Indian head massage, acupuncture and electro-stimulation therapy are just some of the treatments being offered to help beat stimulant drug addiction in Keighley.
The complementary therapies, designed to alleviate withdrawal symptoms, were outlined at the launch of Keighley's Stimulant Drugs Service.
The service is run by Project 6, which helps people dependent on alcohol and illegal drugs.
It has been set up to respond to the needs of growing numbers of people using crack cocaine, crystal meth and other so-called 'stimulant' drugs.
About 25 people attended Wednesday morning's launch in the Sangat Centre in Lawkholme.
Mike Cadger, the Project 6 director, told the audience that when the group was first set up in 1989 it catered almost exclusively for heroin users.
He warned people were now more likely to supplement heroin with other substances such as crack cocaine.
He said: "The vast majority of people we see at Project 6 are using a variety of substances.
"That is serious and should be a major concern."
Project 6 Asian Communities worker Safiya Rehman said the increasing variety of drugs available meant treatment for addicts needed to keep pace with change.
She said whereas in the past Asians in Keighley preferred to smoke drugs, they were increasingly likely to choose the more dangerous injection method now.
Stimulant service worker Laura Robertson said that for some, taking drugs was not a special event but part of everyday life.
She said: "Some people can be just watching EastEnders and taking cocaine. They want to get off their heads."
She said more people were showing symptoms of the stimulant Methamphetamine. She said good quality crystal meth could induce a 15 hour high, but could also give the sensation of spiders crawling all over the body.
